ReVise Consulting Proven Methodology

Each project will go through five phases, known as the ‘REVIS Method’ to easily determine the most appropriate services for our clients.

R - Research

To understand potential root causes of issues, analyzing archived and easily obtainable data is a critical starting point. This phase is crucial to defining and understanding deliverable requirements, complexity, and operational readiness of your workforce to determine which services are optimal. The project begins by creating a team charter to identify team members, select the process the team will be improving and clearly define the objective of the project. The project team will then measure the impact the problem has on the client. This phase is completed when the team creates a process map that includes the process’s inputs and outputs.

E - Evaluation

V - Vision

Before executing interventions, we review our planned and scoped approaches with our clients to determine the best path forward.  Ensuring alignment with your organization’s goals is critical to a successful intervention.  ReVise consultants work with clients on a scoped, step‐by‐step, planned approach before executing interventions. This includes asking and answering questions that arise to mitigate potential issues and identifying other prospective opportunities for improvement. Once process performance has been quantified, the analysis helps identify possible causes of the problems.  In this phase, the team can quantify the financial benefit of implementing a specific intervention

I - Intervention

In this phase, agreed‐upon interventions are carried out, task pathways are tracked, and additional data is documented. Consultants are consistently in contact with client leadership and sponsors to ensure all aspects of the planned intervention remain on track or can be easily redirected if identified risks threaten progress. Our strategy is to use a combination of evidence‐based research, organization‐specific data, and client requests to influence our decision making. Once the problem’s root cause is brought to light, this phase focuses on finding a permanent solution to the problem. This is where the project team’s creativity comes into play in finding an answer to a longstanding process problem. The team then tests a proposed solution in a pilot program to test if the solution is effective and financially viable.

S - Sustainment

To ensure our interventions are successful for our clients, we conduct a secondary evaluation of data and continue to utilize collected data from current interventions to evaluate progress. This is then used to determine further approaches that can be implemented within other areas of the organization. In this phase, the project team documents the new solution that they have created so that it can be passed on to process owners. The project team then implements the solution according to the timeline and key milestones they have developed. Once the solution has been implemented, the project team monitors it for several months and if it meets performance expectations turns it over to the process owner.
